Description:
Looking for qualified candidates to work as in-person and online STEM tutors. We hold sessions in the afternoon and evening Monday through Thursday. Duties include helping K-12 students with their homework in math/science subjects. Other duties include communicating issues, ideas, and important information with the Tutoring Center Manager.
Responsibilities:

- Communicating issues, ideas, and important information with the Tutoring Center Manager.
- Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- Current SUU student pursuing a STEM degree.
- Must be able to work shifts that will give a minimum of 8 hours per week and up to 16 hours. Hours are Monday through Thursday 2-8 PM. (priority given to 2-5 PM time)
- Comfortable teaching and/or researching a wide range of math/science subjects but will get all subjects. Required to have finished Calculus
- Must be able to pass a background check through ICSD and SUU
- Dependable and punctual, friendly, good communication skills and must enjoy working with children and high school age students
- Must be able to maintain a clean and neat, professional appearance
- Comfortable working Zoom and basic technology
- MUST have a driver’s license and own a car to get to work locations.
- Spanish speaking is preferred but not required.
This position would be through the semester and continuing in spring semester school year. September thru April
